SHARED ACCOMMODATION

When booking shared accommodation, the first registrant will be billed for the total cost of the room on registration. The second registrant should indicate that they are sharing (and with whom) and do not require additional accommodation, to prevent double billing.

GETTING TO GLADSTONE

Flights to Gladstone There is only one flight into Gladstone in the morning that will allow you to connect with the Heron Island Ferry. It is recommended that you book flights early as seats are filling fast.

There are several other alternatives that you might like to consider. They are-

Come over a day earlier - most of the organising committee and several of the keynote speakers will be travelling over on Sat 27th. Why not come over and join us!

Helicopter flight - this is a spectacular 30 min flight that takes you out over the surrounding islands and Wistari reef. Luggage is limited on the flight, but any excess can be sent over on the next ferry (so pack in your toothbrush and bathers!)
Flights run all day during daylight hours and can be booked via the registration form.

Road Transport
Car: Gladstone is a 5-6 hr drive from Brisbane by car. There is a secure lock up area at the Gladstone Marina.
